What you'll need to have

- Educational background in Environmental or Civil Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Safe&Security area

- Ideally a previous experience in this role

- Qualification as ASPP (addetto del servizio di Prevenzione e Protezione ex D. lgs 81-08)

- Qualification as safety trainer

- Strong passion for Safety & Security topic

- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office

- Good communication in English and Italian

- Structured, analytical method and attention to details

- Strong communication and groups engagement skills

What you'll be doing day to day

Safety Area

- Play the role of Aspp (addetto del servizio di Prevenzione e Protezione ex D. lgs 81-08)

- Ensure the performance and realizations of IKEA Corporate policies and routines according to S&S Leader/BR&C Manager assigned goals;

- Assure compliance with local laws and regulations in the safety and security for the assigned unit;

- Conduct and update risk assessments in the units (SO & CSC) to suggest mitigation plan;

- Plan and conduct local S&S training for co-workers

- Act as IKEA's point of contact for local authorities (life safety, law enforcement, crisis management etc. )

and consultants (fire safety, technical risk assessment, etc.

);

- Support all country functions in the implementation of S&S routine and procedure;

- Report co-worker accidents/incidents and figures to the S&S Leader and insert them in the incident Reporting tool;

- Secure that Safety routines are established at new construction sites and openings of new units occur safely for co-workers, customers and visitors, through periodical site visits;

- Periodical follow-up on previous review and Action plan are correctly implemented

- Contribute to the country's expansion process, taking in mind both the global / local IKEA requirements through: site visits to construction sites, participation in coordination meetings, auditing and control activities, collection of the documentation required for opening the units.

Security Area

- Assure that IKEA Group crime and corruption prevention programs are implemented, specifically relating to: internal and external theft; fraud and corruption; intrusion; threats and extortion

- Risk Management rules of the IKEA Group relating to physical security, such as intrusion detection systems, access control systems, are complied with;

- Appropriate co-worker security training, in accordance with Risk Management rules of the IKEA Group are in place in areas such as check-outs, cash office and control room;

- Management dealing with security aspects have appropriate knowledge and training to handle these risks (eg.

unit manager, manager on duty, etc);

- Analyse inventory figures and ensure that effective prevention measures are implemented; Managing external security providers (e. g.

guarding service).
