Civitanavi Systems is a principal player in the provision of the design, development and manufacture of high-tech solutions of Inertial Navigation, Geo Reference and Stabilization systems. As System Safety, Reliability And Maintainability Engineer , you will ensure that the INS products are developed, designed, produced and supported according to the state-of-art and applicable safety standards associated with airworthiness regulations; you will be responsible for analysing candidate designs products developed in terms of verification and satisfaction of reliability and maintainability objectives. Duties Organize, perform activities and produce documentation for the "Safety Assessment" of inertial systems for civil and military aircraft according to ARP4761 (FHA, PSSA, SSA, Fault Trees, Quantitative and Qualitative Assessments) and to MIL-STD-882E Support the system design team to ensure compliance with safety objectives Specify and support the validation and verification activities of system requirements, according to ARP4754A Perform and manage the Safety Assessment on safety-related derived requirements defined during the development life cycle Be the responsible point-of-contact for the coordination and management of safety activities with external suppliers, including document review and acceptance Generate, manage and verify Reliability documentation (FMES, FMEA, FMECA) Generate, manage and verify Maintainability documentation Skills And Experience Required Skills University degree in Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or equivalent Knowledge and experience in applying the guidelines ARP4761 and ARP4754A Systems Engineering/V Model in Aviation or other complex product development industry processes Knowledge on reliability software packages Knowledge of main reliability standards (MIL-STD-785B, MIL-HDBK-217F N2, ANSI/VITA 51. 1-2008, Telcordia, MIL-HDBK-338B) Ability to adopt the proper communication attitude to be effective depending on the audience and context Italian mothertongue and knowledge of English language (at least intermediate level) Preferred Skills Familiarity with requirements management tools (preferred IBM Rational DOORS) Knowledge of Inertial Navigation Systems Target-oriented with analytic problem-solving skill Additional Information JOB ID: req481292 Category: Engineering Location: Via Della Tecnologia 2-4, Porto St Elpidio, FERMO, 63821, Italy Exempt J-18808-Ljbffr
