- Aiming to strengthen our Transportation Department for an important project based in Italy, we are recruiting some profiles of**SAFETY ASSURANCE MANAGER - RAILWAY SIGNALLING DOMAIN

Job location: Bologna area (Florence Quest National Head Offices or remote working as alternative options)**Role Overview

The selected resources - acting as part of an agile team aimed at giving a qualified support to the Engineering Dept.

within a complex, structured environment with high pitched professional standards - will manage, perform and monitor all the activities related to safety assurance in the projects, ensuring that safe solutions are delivered and relevant regulations and industry standards met.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate all the Safety Assurance activities on the project as per Safety process;

- Perform Safety Analysis, manage Hazard Log, review RAM, Cyber, V&V, T&C activities from a Safety perspective;

- Define Safety Plan and manage safety workload and associated planning;

- Support project teams to integrate systems in projects;

- Build the Safety Reports and/or the Safety Cases;

- Organize and attend periodic Safety Reviews;

- Defend Safety Case argumentations in front of internal (QS, Safety Assessor) and external (ISA) assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessors;

- If identified as Safety Leader for a Safety Issue, manage 8D steps as per process.

**Background, qualifications and desired experience**:

- BSc / MSc Degree in Engineering or similar background;

- minimum 3 to 10 years' experience in Railway Signalling Safety Assurance role.
