We are currently seeking new talented individuals to join our Danieli Centro Combustion Team.

Danieli Centro Combustion (DCC) is a global leader in heating and heat treatment systems in the steel industry.

It's area of expertise is in the design of combustion and quenching systems, with an in-house R&D Centre and a full range of proprietary burners and innovative equipment applied to the steel and aluminum market for billets, blooms, slabs, plates, pipes, strips, bars and wires.

**Job Title**: Product Safety Engineer

**Location**: Genova

**Responsibilities**:

- To be the reference point for all matters related to product safety within the company;

- Plan and manage, together with the defined Project Engineer, al the activities relevant to the product Safety during the project, in time to be developed and in accordance with all other active projects to be on time and appropriate.

- Edit the Technical File and related documentation or assist the person in charge of relevant preparation;

- For CE marking, prepare and collect all the documentation necessary for the validation of the activities that allow the issuance of the Declaration of Conformity or Incorporation by the Company, both in terms of Machinery Directive requirements as well as the satisfaction of its Process Control harmonized norms (e. g. EN 746);

- Assist the Technical Office during the design phase to comply with the Product Safety requirements;

- Supporting the compilations of purchase technical specifications for the External Technology packages;

- In the non-EC area, prepare all the documentation necessary to satisfy alternative local regulations;

- Assist the Project Engineer and/or Manager during Product Safety discussions with Customers and/or their Consultants;

- Support the Site Manager in order to implement on-site Product Safety measures, devices, systems, verifying the adherence and conformity to what designed and supplied.

- Participate in the training or information sessions organized by the Technical Office and by the Group Safety Coordination Team.

- Implement and keep updated the Company Organizational Model for the Assurance of the Compliance to the Product Safety rules.

- Preparation of Training, Use and Maintenance Manuals

- Working in accordance with well-known ISO 9001 Quality Assurance System and support its use and spreading within the Company.

- Preparation of eventual export documents for particular countries.

**Technical Requirements**:

- Education Required: Engineering/technical degree or high school diploma (mechanical/chemical/electrical)

- Knowledge of Process and Machines Safety Rules are preferred.

- 2-5 years of experience in the field is required;

- CE/not-CE marking rules (preferred)

- Good knowledge of Office suite Tools (spec:Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)

- Knowledge of Inventor/Autocad

- Good knowledge of English language
