Be a part of the EDC Team!Enforces and ensures that all government and company safety regulations and guidelines are being followed properly. Identifies workplace hazards and proposes actions to prevent accidents or mitigate the effects of identified risks. Conducts comprehensive inspections and investigations, writes orders and reports. Checks the appropriateness of protective equipment and ensures employees and workers have everything they need to work safely.

Observes crews at work and reports laxity in safety precautions, such as failure to use goggles, rubber gloves, and other safety devices. Inspects equipment, tools, and working conditions to ensure the safety of workers engaged in construction.

Inspects safety belts, ladders, ropes, rubber goods, and tools and requires replacement of those not meeting safety requirements. Inspects availability and operability of safety tools and equipment of the contractor. Coordinates with the contractor to ensure good housekeeping and high standards of safety in the workplace at all times. Promotes adherence to and supports all company safety, security, and environmental rules, policies, and procedures with a zero-tolerance mentality. Provides technical safety support for construction activities and ensures that all work is performed with methodology conforming to safety standards, approved manuals, internal policies, and procedures. Attends and participates in contractors' tool box and sub-committee meetings. Works with HSE Manager to make immediate investigations of accidents/incidents and report findings and recommendations to the Construction Manager. Performs other duties and safety-related functions as necessary to ensure an accident-free workplace. Willing to be assigned to Maco, Davao de Oro.
