Amazon is looking for a new member for its Prevention and Protection Service team.

Year after year, due to continuous growth, we need to work smarter to make workplaces safer.

To achieve this, we are seeking a Safety Technician with a proactive approach who can take an extra step to ensure Health and Safety throughout the Warehouse.

This position is crucial in the Health and Safety department, reporting directly to the Head of the Prevention and Protection Service.

Key Job ResponsibilitiesConduct Risk Assessments and verify the implementation of control measures until completion. Perform daily reports on internal metrics and report deviations. Analyze workplace safety data, such as accident rates and Near Miss incidents. Leverage your knowledge of Amazon's regulations and procedures to conduct auditing activities, advising employees and their supervisors on safe working practices. Become an expert in your specific area of expertise while being careful not to share sensitive information outside your competencies and/or scope. Continuously monitor the work environment, maintaining a strong focus on compliance with safety requirements according to Amazon's safety procedures. Support the investigation of incidents and near misses to determine root causes. Develop action plans to ensure continuous and sustained regulatory compliance. Always behave professionally, maintaining confidentiality during incident investigations. Ensure flexibility in working hours to complete incident investigations, including availability to work shifts, including weekends. Be able to support the warehouse through the use of specific tools and IT platforms. Support the warehouse through ongoing training on health and safety topics. A Day in the LifeVerify information from the previous shift. Implement daily, weekly, or monthly routines. Audit the warehouse in all its operational areas. Engage daily with Operations to verify the implementation of safety procedures. Supervise and verify the safety management system. About the TeamThe team you would join consists of 7 members led by a Manager (RSPP) with the support of a Specialist (ASPP Specialist) and 5 Technicians rotating shifts.

The team is very cohesive and helps each other with various activities, holding team meetings between shifts and weekly.
