**Job Summary

We want to create a data discipline that allows us to be better, smarter and more efficient with what we do with data & insights.
We are looking for a strong business analyst with a proven track record and previous project experience.
We use SAP extensively from base ERP to BI, CRM, C4C, G-suite and Excel.
This role will require someone who is both strong technically as well as well versed in supporting strategic planning on day-to-day management
**Help build the future of Analytics**:
- Analyze which reporting elements and data sources can be automated and what operational processes are required
- Support the design and build of automated reports and dashboards using various data sources to address key business questions
- Connecting multiple data sets together in such a way that enriches on-going insight generation
- Driving discussions with different stakeholders also from other departments at both local and international level (i. e.
Mktg, Finance etc) to understand data content, processes and business requirements
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn company specific tools & programs
- Provide support and troubleshooting, including investigation of data issues and data validation
**Support the insights and data-driven mindset expansion**:
- Generate data-driven insights that will drive business decision making across the organization
- Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to identify data and insights needs in order to bring insights and recommendations to Hill's teams and relevant forums
- Championing the understanding of data and insights with commercial stakeholders and business partners, ensuring teams are operating based on insights with appropriate direct access to data
- Able to manage multiple concurrent projects independently, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and with a high standard of quality
- Develop ad hoc projects for business analysis and reporting
- Provide training to the organization to leverage self service analytics tools
**Education/ Experience Required**:
- Master's degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Statistics (and/or Data Analytics related field)
- Experience integrating data from multiple sources into coherent datasets
- Advanced skills with Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools (Domo, Power BI, Tableau or similar) is considered a plus
- A minimum of 2 years of experience where you've worked supporting Business intelligence and reporting is considered a plus
- An international academic or professional experience would be considered a plus
**Additional competencies/skills**:
- Ability to conduct 'AS IS' assessment and collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to deliver the desired 'future state'
- Ability to articulate complex analytical challenges / solutions in both technical and non-technical terms
- Hands-on "can do" approach, with willingness to learn and adapt quickly
- Excellent presentation skills, able to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner and work with cross-functional teams
- Excellent skills in time management, planning/priority setting, ability to work on multiple projects
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Fluent in Italian and in English are key requirements
**Working Relationships (Key partnerships and reporting relationships)**:
- Reports to the Field Priority Manager and may manage 1 intern after 9/12 months in the role
- Works closely with Commercial Teams including Marketing, Professional Veterinary Affairs and Finance
**Location: Rome Headquarter (the role requires to be at the office on average 3 days/week).
