For the expansion of our EMEA team, Argenx is looking for a: Sales & Marketing Director Italy Argenx is seeking a dynamic and visionary Country Sales & Marketing Director to lead sales and marketing efforts within the Italian market.
This individual will play a critical role in shaping the success of Argenx's groundbreaking pipeline, bringing our life-changing therapies to patients who need them.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving growth and managing sales and marketing strategies within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
Key Responsibilities/Scope of the Job Develop and execute the sales and marketing strategy for Argenx's products within the Italian market.
Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing team of sales and marketing professionals.
Drive market penetration and revenue growth by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, institutions, and KOLs.
Collaborate with global marketing and commercial teams to ensure alignment with overall corporate strategy.
Monitor market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory developments to adapt strategies accordingly.
Prepare and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Provide regular reporting on performance, forecasting, and market insights to the senior management team.
Skills/Knowledge: Strategic Marketing: Ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with company objectives.
Market Understanding: In-depth knowledge of the local market, including customer demographics and competitive landscape.
Digital Marketing: Proficiency in using digital tools to engage with target audiences effectively.
Team Leadership: Leadership skills to manage and motivate the marketing team, fostering collaboration and achieving targets.
Data Analysis: Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and optimizing marketing campaigns.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, tailored to various stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within cross-functional teams and networks.
Demonstrated communication skills in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual global environment.
Agility and adaptability in a dynamic, complex, fast-moving, and frequently changing business environment.
Demonstrable experience with project management, proactive planning, priority setting, and securing alignment.

Education / Experience Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech sales and marketing roles, with a strong track record of success.
Deep understanding of the Italian healthcare landscape, including market access and reimbursement.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
Ability to travel as needed within Italy and internationally.
