Sales Account Manager
Job Description: Field sales position responsible for achieving assigned territory sales plan. Technical competence in QPCR, dPCR, Sequencing and credibility to provide consult and influence key decisions on technology and product choices. Drive actions for QPCR, dPCR and Sequencing in Research markets using knowledge of business and external context to deliver profitable initiatives that build sales. Responsibilities:Achieve agreed sales target. Drive business expansion in Research market and NPI launch. Work in collaboration with colleagues and manager to achieve targets. Maintain updated territory & actions plan; anticipate pipeline changes to address shortfalls. Set up and undertake sophisticated action plan. Review strategy efficiency on a continual basis. Maintain high level of knowledge in all specific business aspects (technical, market, competitions, applications). Consistently and accurately sales process including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales tracking, through the use of customer relationship management program and other designated IT tools. Build up reference sites and positive interaction with most important Key Opinion Leaders. Qualification / Experience Required:Academic degree (minimum MSc) in biology / life sciences field. Experience in QPCR technology is preferred. Sales Experience in Research field is preferred. Oriented to develop and implement strategies that drive growth. Able to undertake frequent travel across area. Good skills in English, written and spoken. Virtual selling experience optional. Skills / Behaviors Required:Strong teamwork skills able to align across teams and organizations and develop collaboration. Organizational skills and ability to set priorities and manage time effectively. Establishes stretch goals and drives for results. Able to take ownership by holding self-accountable for personal delivery. Available to improve skills in a continuous professional development. Good technical knowledge and willing to continue to learn. Good interpersonal skills and willingness to be flexible and adaptable in a sophisticated cross-functionally environment. Valid driver's license.
