Sales Account Manager
Job Title: Sales Solutions Specialist Work Schedule: Standard (Monday to Friday)
Environmental Conditions: Various outside weather conditions
About the Role: This is a field sales position responsible for achieving assigned territory sales goals. The successful candidate will possess technical expertise in QPCR, dPCR, and Sequencing, with the ability to demonstrate credibility and influence key decisions on technology and product choices.
The role involves driving actions for QPCR, dPCR, and Sequencing in Research markets, utilizing knowledge of the business and external context to deliver profitable initiatives that build sales.
Responsibilities include: Achieving agreed-upon sales targets Driving business expansion in the Research market and NPI launch Collaborating with colleagues and manager to achieve targets Maintaining updated territory and action plans, anticipating pipeline changes to address shortfalls Setting up and undertaking sophisticated action plans, reviewing strategy efficiency on a continual basis Maintaining a high level of knowledge in all specific business aspects (technical, market, competitions, applications) Consistently and accurately managing the sales process, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales tracking, through the use of customer relationship management programs and other designated IT tools Building reference sites and positive interactions with Key Opinion Leaders Requirements: Academic degree (minimum MSc) in biology or life sciences Experience in QPCR technology preferred Sales experience in the Research field preferred Oriented to develop and implement strategies that drive growth Able to undertake frequent travel across the area Good skills in English, written and spoken Base preferred: Rome Virtual selling experience optional Key Skills and Behaviors: Able to align across teams and organizations, developing collaboration Organizational skills and ability to set priorities and manage time effectively Establishes stretch goals and drives for results Able to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement Takes ownership by holding self-accountable for personal delivery Available to improve skills in continuous professional development Good technical knowledge and willingness to continue learning Good interpersonal skills and willingness to be flexible and adaptable in a sophisticated cross-functionally environment Valid driver's license Salary: €60, 000 - €80, 000 per year (dependent on experience)
