The position We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to join our rapidly-growing Retail Media team.
This is an exciting time to join a new team in a role with broad scope and the potential to make a real impact.
This role will be focused on driving net-new business with a prospecting mindset.
The Sales Account Manager primary responsibility will be to proactively reach out to potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the company.
This role will be engaging with prospects over the phone, email, or other communication channels to introduce our products or services, build relationships, and close sales.
Key job responsibilities: A Sales Account Manager generates advertising revenue by calling on new prospects and winning Retail Media budgets.
Initiates outbound calls to Advertisers and engage them in meaningful conversations Introduces our Retail Media product, highlight its benefits, and address any questions or concerns they may have Builds rapport and establish strong relationships with Advertisers through effective communication and active listening Understands Advertisers needs, challenges, and goals to position our offering as a valuable solution Generates a pipeline and influences buying decisions to drive revenue from new advertisers.
Utilize sales CRM tools to track all pertinent account information and sales progress as well as forecast and prioritize to achieve quarterly and annual quota goals Prepares and delivers customized sales presentations to clients.
Product Knowledge : Develop a deep technical understanding of our product, including features, it's benefits, and competitive advantages Articulate this information clearly and persuasively to sellers, highlighting how our offering can meet their specific requirements Sales Presentations : Deliver compelling sales demonstrations to Advertisers, in person and via video communication Sales Metrics and Reporting: Track and report sales activities, outcomes, and pipeline progress using Salesforce Provide regular updates on sales performance, Voice of the Advertisers, and key learning's to the sales manager or team Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques Participate in training programs, attend sales meetings, and engage in self-development activities to enhance sales skills and effectiveness Written and verbal communication Interpersonal skills experience Persuasion and negotiation knowledge Knowledge in self-motivation and target-driven Experience to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge with CRM (customer relationship management) software and sales tools Experience to handle rejection Results-oriented knowledge Experience to adapt and willingness to learn PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years' experience selling advertising or advertising like services Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets Able to utilize sales CRM tools such as or like programs Digital media sales, consulting, or brand management experience Fluency in spoken and written English.
