Sales Account Manager Services & Support - Northern Italy

As our new Sales Account Manager , you will be responsible for the success of our Services & Support solutions (Agilent CrossLab) in Northern Italy, promoting and selling service contracts to assigned accounts. The broad portfolio of services and the help from support teams will allow you propose Asset Management, Lab-wide Enterprise Solutions, Multi-Vendor Services, Relocations and Customer Education. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing existing contracts and generating new business to reach your financial targets. Initially you will work closely with a Senior Key Account Manager, to quickly transfer you the necessary consultative sales expertise and reach the required level of independence to manage a Sales Territory with full accountability.
This is an exciting role in an international team, where you will be responsible for:
• Managing the installed base inventory, service levels and contract set-up
• Consistently monitoring the contract performance
• Creatively tailoring solutions to meet customer requirements
• Generating new business possibilities and identifying sales opportunities using the full portfolio available
• Driving account plans for growth
• Collaborating closely with the local Field Service organization, the Instrument Sales Teams and the other members of the Service Sales team.
For this role, you would be ideally located in the Milan , Bergamo or the Brescia area and will be working remotely combined with travel to customer sites in the North of Italy (a company car will be available to you).
Qualifications We are looking for a motivated individual with the following background:
• University degree in a Life Science field (Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharma…)
• Ideally sales/inside sales experience selling scientific solutions (products or services)
• Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical, Biopharma and Chemical Analysis industry would be a valued asset
• Perfect networking abilities to integrate customer priorities and influence key stakeholders
• Knowledge of / experience with a CRM software would be an advantage
• Full proficiency in Italian and good level of English
• A valid driving license

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
