Job Summary

This role supports Sales Management on effective and efficient customer development.

Responsible as Sales Manager for specified customers.

Business process partner of Order Management.

International collaboration with Business Units and factories.

Primary Responsibilities

- Support of Sales Managers on but not limited to:

- Forecast analytics and Demand planning

- Sales contract management, with focus on contract creation and implementation

- Lead and Opportunity creation and follow up

- Quote Management including quote creation, lead of quote approval process and follow up

- Maintain customer and business-related master data

- Customer and market related reporting and analytics

- CRM database support

- Maintain business relationship with internal and external customers.

- Full Sales Management responsibility for assigned customers

Required Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies

- Bachelor degree in economics or engineering or comparable professional education

- preferably 3 years of relevant job experience

- Photonics knowledge or business related experience benefical

- Strong analytic and problem solving capabilities

- Excellent communication skills and teamwork

- Fluent language skills in English.

German language skills desired but not mandatory.

Other Languages a benefit.

- Developed negotation and presentations skills

- Pro-active and problem solving work style

- Good self organization and prioritization

- ERP and CRM system experience benefical, especially on ORACLE and SalesForce

- MS Office knowledge required, especially on Excel, Powerpoint, Word

Travel Requirements

- approx.

10% of working time (expected)

- Flexible work agreement possible to enable 3 days in Novanta office (Muggio/Milano, Italy) and 2 days at home office
