Position Summary:

This position will hold responsibility for a specific territory (region) within Italy as an independent Sales Agent on a contract and commission basis.

The role will be to scout, nurture and support existing or new business throughout the territory for all the Bio-Techne Portfolio.

In this position you will be expected to maintain an extremely high level of customer and market knowledge, as well as to be results and target driven.

Key Responsibilities:

Nurture existing Academic/Industry customer base throughout the territory, by understanding the customers current research and how the Bio-Techne portfolio can support this.

Keep all channels of communication open with internal and external sales teams; use lead generation and marketing to ensure a cohesive team for maximum customer support.

Identification and management of local tenders in the region.

Ensure new customers are onboarded to the ACD and ProteinSimple Technology in an effective and efficient manner, providing continued support through new set ups and long-term instrument management.

Act in a commercially savvy way to unlock new business opportunities through existing customers as well as live interactive web chats.

Maintain awareness and knowledge of marketplace and competitors.

Report findings and potential pipeline both monthly and quarterly to the Territory Manager.

QualificationsEducation and Experience:

Independent Employee with own VAT position (Partita IVA)

An understanding of the Life Science Market

Fluent in English

Demonstrable experience of working within a customer care/sales environment with a strong commercial focus.

Experience of using own initiative and working in a target driven environment

Ability to track key performance indicators (KPIs)

Preferably located in Milano Roma - Firenze
