ROLE
As Sales Area Manager, the candidate will have an important role in the commercial department of the company with a primary focus on developing new business relationships and increasing the current customer portfolio.
The candidate will be involved in all the activities concerning the commercial department from new customer acquisition to existing customer orders fulfillment.
The candidate will be in charge of promoting all the products offered by the company such as cutter suction dredgers, special purpose dredgers, mining pumps, dredging components, marine equipment and many other products.
The area of interest will be both Italy and foreign countries with a specific focus on North and South America, the Middle East and Africa.
The Sales Area Manager will actively contribute to Italdraghe's growth and expansion both at Italian and foreign levels.
The candidate will provide knowledge and expertise to fulfill customer demand ensuring Italdraghe standards are met.
Responsibilities Set and execute the sales strategy for specific products category and servicesIdentify new business opportunitiesScout new potential clientsOrganize business trips in the geographic areas of interest to visit clients and promote Italdraghe productsDevelop, strengthen and maintain the relationship with existing clientsIdentify business partnerships and collaborationsPrepare both technical and commercial offersPrepare all the documentation to be submitted for tender participation interacting with all the other business functions neededPrepare and organize meetings, company visits and eventsOrganize and attend dredging/marine sector exhibitions both in Italy and abroad Professional Experience Degree in naval engineering, mechanical engineering or other engineeringStrong technical background in engineeringSignificant international sales experienceExpertise in client relationship management developed during past experiencesLanguages: spoken and written ItalianOther languages: knowledge of spoken and written English and at least one other language between French, German, Spanish, Portuguese PERSONAL ATTITUDES Open-minded attitude to work with people from different countries, cultures and different layers of societyStrong attitude towards commercial and promoting activitiesCustomer sensitivity, high efficiency and effectiveness in conducting daily activitiesEntrepreneurship attitude to propose initiatives to Italdraghe teamAble to deal with multiple sales processes and contracts simultaneouslyFlexible, reliable, accurate, decisiveAble to work in a teamExcellent organizational skillsFull-time availability
