Sales Area Manager - Architectural Coatings
As a Sales Area Manager, you'll aim to achieve sales and pricing goals in the area(s) of responsibility in accordance with sales/ marketing plans in order to achieve long term growth.
Direct commercial, sales and technical support activities consistent with overall sales strategy.
The primary focus of the area manager is to develop sales and manage a sales force.
The area manager has a particular focus on Top Customers.
**Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of the Strategic Sales Plan in terms of volumes, product mix, profit and distribution network
- Deliver sales and pricing as defined in the budget for the area, channel or segment in charge
- Implement the product and market segment strategy, defining the specific objectives and targets for the geographical area
- Negotiate trading terms with customers which meet volume and pricing goals
- Keep abreast of market and trade conditions and competitor activity in order to revise and develop strategies to meet changing customer requirements
- Ensure that technical teams and other parties involved on the client contract understand fully the product development requirements of the customer
- Ensure total customer satisfaction level (quality, technical and delivery time) in his area
- Lay down and manage a decisive and efficient sales and distribution organisation, and appoint, manage and develop a well-motivated and efficiently staffed organization
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 5 years sales and sales management experience
- Sales planning skills
- Business Intelligence analysis
- Key Account and distributors management sales experience
- Good MS Office knowledge
- Good knowledge of English
