About the Role We seek a seasoned sales area manager to strengthen COMAS sales department. The successful candidate, in collaboration with the rest of the sales team and the sales director, will manage the sales process, through the proper definition of business proposals, in line with budget objectives and the top management guidelines.
The person will be involved in strategic activities with our network of global customers and flexibility to undertake some travels is paramount.
Main responsibilities include – not limited to:
Collaborate with the senior area managers in the definition of sales budgets ensuring the strategic goals' fulfilment; Manage sales processes in order to consolidate and develop business results achieving assigned budgets Visit frequently the customers assigned in order to establish a long-term partnership. Ensure constant monitoring of the assigned market area in terms of current/potential customers, risks and economic trends supporting the sales management in the definition of the most effective promotional activities for business development and consolidation. Ensure proper formulation of offers to define, in collaboration with technical managers, the functional requirements to be met managing both financial aspects and the business negotiation process What You Need to Be Successful The suitable candidate will:
Have at least 3-5 years' experience in Sales and will have a proven track experience within the consumer electronics / industrial automation / lithium-ion batteries business Be self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously and also able to work well within a team. Display excellent communication skills as they are essential in the role. Hold a master's degree in one of the following fields: Mechanic, Automation, Electrical engineering or similar. Be proficient in English and Italian Be curious and passationated about technology with a proactive approach in offering tailored solutions to any type of customer. Be keen in undertaking approximately 150 days of business trips.
