Sales Business Development Manager-Travel Agency SalesAbout the Role & Team:
As a Sales Business Development Manager (SBDM) for Travel Agency Sales with Disney, you will be responsible for key accounts in an assigned territory.
The SBDM is responsible for crafting and implementing multifaceted sales and marketing plans that drive portfolio revenue growth with additional focus on Disney Cruise Line expansion.
The SBDM actively manages 10-20 large host, franchise, and cruise focused agencies in their assigned territory and identifies all independent agency top producers within this client base.
While there is additional focus on Disney Cruise Line, these clients also sell all 6 domestic Disney Destinations products.
Ideally, the candidate will reside in Texas, California, or Orlando.
As a Sales Business Development Manager, you will report to the National Account Sales Director.
This is a Full-Time position.
What You Will Do Drive Annual Business ResultsConduct sales calls to agencies within given territory assignment to maintain and grow relationships with clients who currently sell the portfolio of Disney productsBuild and implement strategic sales & marketing plans to hit annual operating plan targetsIdentify and develop new sales growth initiatives that are measurable and actionable.
Be able to develop a case and solve sophisticated business issues. Provide product knowledge to clients through product and technology trainings for the portfolio of Disney productsHandle program budget and be accountable for timely forecasting, tracking and reportingImprove all product and promotional opportunities through client tactics and communicationConduct regional training or assist in the training of agents at events including Agent Education Programs, Familiarization trips (FAMs) ship tours, etc. Required Qualifications & Skills At least five years of shown Travel Industry experience, specifically in a sales business development roleConsistent record of relationship building with C-Suite level contacts as well as front line and operational leadership as well as shown success with internal contactsConfirmed history of product training facilitation for both small and large groups (75+)Proficiency in negotiating and implementing annual marketing plans, co-operative investments and growth incentivesValidated experience in driving revenue for key brand priorities/multiple brandsStrong understanding of field level/remote sellingDeep knowledge of the Disney brand and portfolio of productsStrong planning and analytical skills to enhance business resultsBroad understanding of marketing principles and ability to build strategic plans, creative problem-solving skillsBroad understanding of travel industry and key trends in the territory and marketplaceBuild, implement and measure unique marketing programs, social media tactics, consumer events and training initiativesExcellent relationship skills and the ability to be a credible business partners, both internal and externalProven track record to manage and secure confidential informationPreferred Qualifications Previous field sales experience in travel or entertainment industryAt least three years of Disney experience/processesHistory of proven over achievement in roles/responsibilitiesWorking knowledge of all Disney Travel products (Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Adventures by Disney, Aulani, and Disney Cruise Line and National Geographic)Knowledge of computer software, such as Tableau, SharePoint, and SHIELDExisting relationships with large Host, Franchise, or Cruise House agenciesPreferred Education
Certificate/Licenses: CTA or CTC desired

The hiring range for this position is $98, 600. 00-$132, 200. 00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions.
The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
