JOB MISSION
To profitably grow Vacuum Automation sales and market share and achieve sales targets in the SEME Region.
Ensure a smooth running of the business according to established policies and vision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES as Sales Director
- As a member of the VA Sales Management Team, actively participate in setting the direction for the VA division and your region's growth strategy.
- Develop tactical execution plans to drive profitable growth
- Deliver on sales and profitability plans - promote and follow up on weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives
- Cultivate lasting relationships with customers and grow customer loyalty - ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Implement efficient sales governance and sales processes to drive profitable growth
- Ensure that sales data is accurately updated in Salesforce promptly and sales reports are generated as agreed
- Promote corporate culture; support the vision and mission of the team
- Develop and implement policies and procedures and monitor adherence.
- Hire, coach, and develop talent
- Establish career and personal development plans for direct reports
- Implement incentive plans for the sales organization by group direction to drive profitable growth, short and long term
- Develop and utilize a good business network in the target industries, including maintaining contact with all sales channels, direct customers, and relevant trade and industry associations
- Assist when needed with trade show preparation and coverage
- Enable sharing of success stories and spreadable wins with other regions within the division and facilitate for cross-selling of Piab Group's other divisions' products
- Ensure that compliance with Piab Group's Code of Conduct is never compromised
- Promote and actively work for Diversity and Inclusion in line with Piab Group's agreed practices
- Promote and actively work for Climate & Resource efficiency in line with Piab Group's agreed practices
- Frequent business travel
**Site Team Leadership responsibilities
- Ensure good customer support and implement and develop efficient processes for the shared service functions.
- Hire, coach, and develop talent in the shared service team
- Develop operational plans and budgets for the site and shared service functions
- Actively promote a cross-divisional team feeling and belonging as well as promoting Piab as a good local citizen
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and circumstances in the country
- Liaise operationally for any approval/expenditure with the POA (P&L owner) by the table of authority.
- Legal requirements on contracting, occupational safety, working hours, working conditions, Flexible working, etc.
for all employees with a contract in the country
- Maintain contact with local service providers.
- Ensure adherence to group policies, including e. g.
code of conduct, signatory authorities are updated, etc
KEY INTERFACES
The Sales Director reports to the Vice President of Sales and works closely with the other members of the Sales Management Team.
Primary key interfaces are the direct reports of the role as well as key customers
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Excellent English, written and spoken
- Excellent presentation skills using various tools to put messages across
- Ability to deliver results under pressure
- Capacity to manage various projects and work on tight deadlines
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Independent and self-organizing capability to work in a complex environment
- Excellent sales process knowledge and understanding of multi-channel indirect and direct sales
- Good financial understanding and knowledge of what measures to take to deliver on Piab Group's financial targets
- Excellent interpersonal skills
