Sales Engineer Weir Minerals Milan, Italy Onsite Purpose of Role: The Technical Sales Engineer is a field-based role to cover Italy, offering a unique opportunity to become a key member of a new, dynamic and goal-oriented team growing our exposure in some of the largest Sand & Aggregate and Mines worth over 10m of business a year with the potential to contribute to the growth of the current defined territory. The successful applicant should be familiar with Minerals, Mining and Quarry Sectors. Key Responsibilities: Size and draft OE commercial offers in line with customers' expectations. Cross selling of the full product range for the sand and gravel, industrial and mining sectors. Develop existing customer into major/key accounts. Advising customers on plant optimization and upgrades. Prospecting new customers in the sales territory. Working to agreed sales targets. Maintain the CRM system for opportunities and sales pipeline. Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: Proven track record in an external technical sales role. Good working knowledge of the key related industries including sand and gravel, mineral processing, and industrial applications. Experience of face-to-face customer visits.
