Sales Engineer (Ref. TN/SA -23)

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join Upstream & TAT Business Unit, in the department of Sales & Marketing and Regional Initiatives. The ideal candidate will work with the Sales Team in order to acquire new orders, exploring new markets and new opportunities, anticipating client's needs.

The candidate will have the responsibility as follows: Perform market analysis for the area of reference and define the relevant approach strategy. Analyze commercial opportunities in the geographic area of reference, including possible commercial agreements with partners, in order to maximize direct sales and marketing of product. Manage the company's resources dedicated to the drawing up of offers. Examine the risk aspects associated with the offer, together with the risk committee. Carry out negotiations with prospects. Prepare the contractual documents in co-ordination with the Legal and Finance Department. Contribute to the monitoring of products/markets/technologies. Follow clients to maintain/improve the relationship with them (Loyalization) with a view to creating further business opportunities. Support the Proposal Department in drafting cost estimates, transferring all the information held and highlighting any critical area. Examine, along with Finance, any criticalities/financing opportunities and exchange rate risk. Negotiate with potential clients/partners. Draft contractual documentation together with the Legal Department. Identify possible partners that, due to their local presence, technological value and references, may contribute to enhancing the offer competitiveness. Required profile: Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering;Previous experience (3 years) in a similar role;Steel Industry Knowledge and experience is a plus;Customer-oriented approach and Commercial soundness;Knowledge of Commercial Principles: understanding of contract types and of their main features (basics, purchasing and selling conditions, partnerships, claims, logistic aspects, etc. ), including international contracts;Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written;Capacity to work in a team and in an international environment;Able to work independently and proactively;Fluent English is mandatory (written and spoken) and additional language is an added value;Willingness to travel.
