Sales Engineer
What is the job about? We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team. With the acquisition of Culligan Commercial & Industrial in Italy, France, and the UK in September 2024, we have expanded our water treatment portfolio to meet the diverse needs of industries, ensuring superior water quality and efficient solutions combined with Grundfos' world-renowned capabilities in pump technology. This powerful combination will offer even greater benefits to our customers. In this position, you will play a fundamental role for creating the sales strategy, sales forecast reports and the sales pipeline. You will have to manage the local network of sales agents, the dealer network and a customer portfolio in order to develop market shares. Your main responsibilities: Identify and qualify new business opportunities in Bologna end Romagna by researching and prospecting potential clients Commercial promotion activities at design studios, large thermo-hydraulic companies and consultants for the promotion and use of water treatment systems Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, providing ongoing support, troubleshooting assistance, and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise Prepare offers and quotations for new systems or for the renovation of existing ones Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale to close deals and secure new business opportunities We imagine that you have: Technical qualification as chemical/mechanical/thermos-hydraulic Previous experience of 2 years in structured companies in the thermo-hydraulic sector Availability to work off-site and continuous travel within the assigned territory (Bologna and Romagna) Knowledge of the English language is appreciated Strong skills of empathy and creation of interpersonal relationships Problem solving skills, ability to work on projects, team spirit, strong sense of responsibility, flexibility, motivation, availability for mobility and inclination towards innovations complete the required profile What's in it for you?
