Sales Engineer
Sales Engineer – HVAC Segment (Lombardy) We are seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Engineer to join our team in Lombardy, specializing in components, piping systems, and couplings within the HVAC segment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive sales growth and promote innovative solutions within a dynamic market.
Key Responsibilities: Business Development:Identify and develop new business opportunities by analysing account potential and establishing relationships with owners, engineering offices, and contractors. Promote the Victaulic product range for binding application products in the assigned territory. Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall team objectives. Sales and Promotion:Conduct sales and promotional activities to create demand for Victaulic products. Deliver field demonstrations and ensure proper installation of products and tools. Pursue product acceptance and specification by engineering consulting companies and owners. Technical Support and Training: Provide training, seminars, and technical support to ensure comprehensive knowledge of the Victaulic system. Offer on-site support during installation and train contractor personnel as needed. Market and Customer Engagement: Maintain strong communication with local distributors, ensuring an efficient flow of information. Collect market insights and report regularly to superiors. Handle product claims in collaboration with the Corporate Engineering department. Assist finance teams in receivables collection when required. Collaboration:Coordinate activities with other sales colleagues to ensure cohesive market coverage and customer satisfaction. Qualifications and Skills: A degree in Engineering or related technical field. Strong understanding of the piping industry and familiarity with HVAC systems. Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 75% of the time). Excellent communication and presentation skills. Professional appearance and demeanour. Fluent in English and Italian.
