Sales Engineer Industry C&I – Center Italy Are you ready to put your commercial experience on the line to make a difference in a leading multinational water treatment company? In this position, you will play a fundamental role in creating the sales strategy, sales forecast reports, and the sales pipeline. You will have to manage the local network of sales agents, the dealer network, and a customer portfolio in order to develop market shares. Your main responsibilities: Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the Center Italy area, through constant relations with customers focused on the Industrial business. Identify potential customers, plan and organize sales calls and customer visits. Find proper customer solutions for water treatment plants that meet customer needs. Conduct commercial promotion activities at end users, design studios, large thermo-hydraulic companies, EPC contractors, OEM customers, and in general all stakeholders in the Industrial market. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, providing ongoing support, troubleshooting assistance, and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise. Prepare offers and quotations for new systems or for the renovation of existing ones. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale to close deals and secure new business opportunities. Your background: We imagine that you have: A technical qualification in chemical/mechanical/thermo-hydraulic engineering. Previous experience of 5 years in structured companies in the plant and machinery sector, preferably specific to water treatment. Availability to work off-site and continuous travel within the assigned territory: Center Italy. Knowledge of the English language. Strong skills in empathy and creation of interpersonal relationships. Problem-solving skills, ability to work on projects, team spirit, strong sense of responsibility, flexibility, motivation, availability for mobility, and inclination towards innovations complete the required profile.
