SPECTRO is one of the worldwide leading suppliers of analytical instruments, employing optical emission (stationary and mobile Arc/Spark OES, ICP-OES) and X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF) technology, used for the elemental analysis of materials in industry, research and academia.
SPECTRO is a member of the AMETEK Materials Analysis Division.
For our Italian team we are looking for a Sales Engineer, who will actively promote, demonstrate and sale SPECTRO products portfolio in Italy.
Essential duties & responsibilities
IncreasingSPECTRO market share/ sales volume for adedicated product lineDeveloping contacts with existing customers and prospectsPerforming instrument demonstration at customer siteReporting activities and projects in a CRM (Sales Force)Promotingthe entire product range and the image of the company using social media, exhibition, press release.
Special knowledge, skills and abilities
Holdscientific education ideally on materials/metals with additional sales trainingHave a successful experience of at least 2/3 years in the sale of technical productsBe fluent in English and ItalianHave a high level of communication/Interpersonal skills (Verbal and written)Be self-motivated, able to work alone and with othersBe able to travel domestically and internationally; frequent overnight stays as the needs of the customers in the territory dictate; expected travel requirement will be about 50%Have good organizational skillsBe an expert user of Office 365 package
