Sales Events Specialist
AG Group is looking for a new SALES EVENTS SPECIALIST to join the Sales department at its headquarters in Rome: you will be part of a dynamic and ambitious team with a strong passion for hospitality and a clear company vision.

Role Description We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Sales Event Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for event planning, sales, and relationship building.
The Event Specialist will be responsible for both proactive and reactive sales efforts, ensuring the successful execution of events while driving new business.
This role requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities: Proactive Sales: Conduct telephone conversations and company visits to identify and qualify prospective customers.
Record all sales prospecting activity and leads in an Excel spreadsheet format for easy tracking and reporting.
Investigate and create new revenue-generating events and innovative ideas to attract clients.
Explore and pursue potential sponsorship opportunities for events.
Collaborate with the marketing team to assist in preparing and presenting event sales presentations.
Brainstorm and develop custom activation plans for account representatives and clients.
Support the marketing team in creating and managing sales collateral for event packages.
Analyze the value and effectiveness of each event, providing reports on results.
Provide weekly and monthly activity reports, including lead generation numbers, to the DOSM.
Reactive Sales: Respond to client needs and assist with site inspections as required.
Maintain ongoing communication with hotel team members to ensure seamless event execution.
Oversee events in person when attendance exceeds 15 guests or for special events, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Ensure timely responses (within 6-12 hours) to client requests for event information.
Promote event locations, including lunches, dinners, and events, within the AG Group portfolio.
Create Event BEO (Banquet Event Order) presentations for internal and external purposes.
Required Skills and Experience Proven experience in Sales, preferably in the Hospitality industry; Operational andtechnical skills in event organization and service sales; Excellent knowledge of analysis and reporting tools; Excellent command of the English language.
Knowledge of an additional language will be considered a plus; Strong ability to build relationships with clients and suppliers; Determination, flexibility, and teamwork spirit.
Tools: Use the tools : Opera, CRM, and Google Drive to manage event details, track sales activity, and collaborate with team members.
The reference collective labor agreement is Turismo-Federalberghi.
