Sales Executive
A unique opportunity to join our Sales Team as a Sales Executive – National Market Specialist!
We are looking for a talented sales enthusiast with a strong MICE and Corporate background to further develop our key feeder markets for Armani Hotel Milano.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Increase client base in all segments mainly in Italy through consistent sales and marketing activities to generate and boost revenues for the hotel.
Knowledge of Corporate Accounts is one of the main focuses of the position to develop Corporate Transient Business along with Groups and Banqueting and push sales for Hotel outlets (Armani Ristorante, Armani Bamboo Bar, and Armani Spa).
Knowledge of MICE Business is essential for the position to develop the Group segment.
Local Entertainment Segment is considered a plus.
Collaborate with the appropriate Department in respect of group's special arrangements.
Qualify group business to generate rooms and catering revenue to impact RevPar performance.
Collaborate with DOSM to create a corporate rate strategy for local accounts and RFPs for volume accounts.
Create and execute account plans for assigned market territory to ensure maximum revenue and budgeted targets are achieved.
Achieve monthly targets as set by DOSM based on Monthly production report of live accounts and other specific targets as laid out by DOSM in line with the hotel's overall budget.
Track and focus on conversion to ensure hotel revenue objectives are impacted and achieved.
Understand and maximize the utilization of all automated sales and reservations systems (Opera) involved with group business.
Participate in sales & revenue meetings and strategy meetings as required.
Respond and maintain effective correspondence with all potential and existing clients.
Produce and execute quarterly and annual action plans.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERTISE Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in Europe.
Applicants are required to have at least one to two years in a Sales Position.
Excellent negotiation skills and strong decision-making abilities.
Creative and innovative approach to sales activities.
Must be fluent in Italian and English.
Working computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Opera.
This position is based at the Armani Hotel Milano and the contract is fixed term.
The candidate must have a flexible schedule and must possess the legal right to work in Italy.
