Sales Executive
Scope of the Role: This role is accountable for developing business through pro-active direct sales, marketing, appointment calls, and site inspections.
The candidate will actively work with the sales and marketing team to develop a strategic action plan to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue.
Tasks/Responsibilities: Clear understanding of the hotel's business strategies and develop action plans to meet the goals.
Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase sales.
Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings through activities such as sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, and trade shows.
Conduct site visits in line with COMO's brand standards.
Arrange and manage familiarization trips and client events.
Provide quick and timely responses and immediate communication to the properties, developing professional long-term business relationships.
Make telephone and personal sales calls to targeted accounts within assigned markets.
Ensure that all contracts are accurate, sent, and signed in a timely manner.
Represent the company at industry-related trade shows, sales trips, and functions as required.
Always provide the highest quality of service to the customer.
Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (generating proposals, writing contracts, customer correspondence).
Record sales and order information into a computer system.
Work closely with the Groups and Events team to promote the awareness of meetings and events.
Collaborate with the Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotels.
Work with the Marketing Team to ensure that the hotels are portrayed positively and in line with company standards.
Extra Duties: From time to time, you may be asked to undertake duties that are not included in this job description.
You should agree to undertake these duties as long as the request is reasonable and will not affect your health, safety, or security.
