Sales Executive, Digital
Please note that this role is based in Italy.
In order to enable us to meet statutory and regulatory obligations of the Italian immigration system you must have the appropriate immigration permission needed to work and reside in Italy for the duration of the employment. Support the Italian Digital Commercial lead in Italy to create and develop insight-led commercial plans for digital retailers distributing Sony content (e. g. , upcoming movies like Venom 3, the new Karate Kid instalment, and thousands of great catalogue titles including the record-breaking Spider-Man franchise, the Jumanji movies, Blade Runner 2049, Little Women…) driving profitability and increasing revenues.
The ideal candidate will be delivery-focused, hands-on, and involved in the details of strategic projects as well as the day-to-day operations.
The resource will be reporting to the Italian Digital Commercial lead. Main Responsibilities:Assist the Italian Digital Commercial lead in managing the relationship with digital retailers distributing Sony content, primary duties include: 40%Work with the Commercial Lead to determine appropriate programs, pricing, and placement of Sony content in order to maximize digital sales. Track Sony content performance and respond accordingly. Interact with retailers daily, liaising with the Commercial Lead. Work closely with Marketing and Research teams to optimize activity. Liaise with Commercial teams in other territories to share knowledge and best practices. Closely monitor digital stores and industry trends: 20%Ensure consistent placement of Sony content in our Digital retailer environments and correct execution of projects. React quickly and positively to competition or market changes. Manage day-to-day commercial operations in Italy.
Key stakeholders will include digital retailers, Sony Global Mastering Servicing, and operations teams: 40%Liaise with local Marketing and Client Services teams to provide and review: Sony content availability communication, correct Italian metadata, and local operational details. Be the day-to-day contact for operational requests regarding Sony content, escalating in a timely manner critical decisions or approvals required. Track all relevant processes and work with Global Mastering Servicing to ensure products are ready for delivery to retailers. Key Requirements:Be data-driven and keep on top of industry and competitor trends.
Understand how to use and interrogate data. Understanding of the digital entertainment market and each retailer's specific needs potentialities to strategize and execute projects accordingly. A high standard in interpersonal skills, in order to build and develop strong relationships at different levels within the organization and when interacting with clients. Excellent communication, planning, and analytical capability. What We're Looking For:Someone who can take ownership of tasks and operate effectively with geographically separated teams and clients. 3 years' experience in a professional environment, preferably within the entertainment industry. Previous experience in account management, with some or all of that experience in a digital-specific business is a plus. Excel proficiency required. Must be fluent in English and (preferably) mother-tongue Italian. Proven experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders with success.
