Sales Leader General Industrial Italy
Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Country Sales Manager is responsible for directing all sales activities within his country and ensuring the company's financial targets are met.
He/ She is responsible for executing the Sales Strategies defined by EMEA Headquarter and translating those to country plans, and works collaboratively with all supporting functions in the business.
The Country Sales manager is accountable for the country revenue and margin growth, development of new business opportunities, and maintaining high customer satisfaction
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Execute country sales strategy.
- Build long-term relationships with customers by understanding their needs and supporting them.
- Set targets for the sales teams, monitoring performance and acting on deviations.
- Directly in charge of defined key and important accounts.
- Price Negotiations and closing deals - either direct or advising team.
- Implementing an effective sales pipeline and lead tracking process in line with our growth and simplification strategies.
Define new business initiatives to drive sales.
- Ensures in collaboration with Marketing and PM an effective, cross-functionally aligned launch of new offerings / Product promotions in support of the Powder Growth Strategy.
- Balance cost / service levels with market needs by using segmentation and implementing clear standards & policies in close alignment with functions like supply chain or logistics.
- Monitor and evaluate market feedback, competitive products and pricing trends - propose actions and change needs to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Working with Regional Sales Manager, Finance and Demand on budgeting and demand planning.
- Drive Digitalization - support roll out of eBusiness and other digital tools.
- Sales Channel Management - define and steer direct and inside sales as well as digital channels, manage and support the activities of external partners ( distributors, agents).
- Participation in exhibitions and conferences.

Qualifications:

- Ability to inspire performance with sales teams.
- Strong commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial approach to business development.
- Skilled at building sales pipelines and moving a prospect through sales funnel to create new business.
- Able to perform financial calculations, create, and manage budgets.
- Demonstrated ability to work in team environment.
- Change catalyst - ability to initiate, manage, and lead in new direction.
- Excellent problem solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent presentation, written and oral communication/ negotiation skills.
- Fluent English.
- Good MS Office skills.
**Education
- Technical study / Apprenticeship in coatings field combined with sales experience ( + 5 years)
- Alternatively commercial experience in coatings industry (preferably industrial coatings).
- Strong knowledge of the Coatings market and industry contacts.
