And with our a new supply chain optimisation division, we are able to develop a range of traditional and technologically advanced services, create financial models and marketing collaterals to promote our innovative services, as well as enhance our customers experience—while generating profitable revenues external to traditional product sales revenues.
As **Sales Logistic Manager**, you will support Medline's sales organisation by designing and offering services that focus on logístical services for our product portfolio that will help healthcare providers (healthcare facilities) to improve patient care and support the achievement of Medline's business objectives.
**How can you help us?
- Develop/specify value-added services for potential and existing customers.
- Assess customer-based service requirements and match those to Medline's operational capabilities.
- Support the sales team in promoting service solutions by meeting with customers.
Develop this through onsite consultation, business reviews, in-depth analysis and improvement projects.
- Reply to questions in tenders related to Medline's operational and logístical capabilities, and prepare for pre-tender faze with account managers
- Have close internal interaction with all departments involved in ensuring customer satisfaction, such as sales, customer service, operations, or other functional areas of the company
- Have close external interaction with Medline customers and suppliers.
- Determine activity-based costs and suggested pricing for value-added services in alignment with budgetary targets and sales strategy.
- Design and implement offered services, including on-site coordination and marketing collaterals in local languages.
- Identify market trends and business opportunities to increase the service portfolio with customers.
- Negotiate and collaborate with suppliers to develop products for customers at the best possible cost and performance.
**Are you our match?
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management or healthcare
- 5+ years in logistics industry and/or healthcare experience
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Ability to make quick decisions and high-level business decisions.
- Analytical, self-starter, self-organised and target-oriented
- Experience with Lean principles; certification in Lean/Six Sigma (black belt) is preferable
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio)
- Able and willing to travel (approximately 50% within Italy)
