**JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for somebody to head up the Sales function within a Global Certification Body, that have recently expanded their services into Italy.
This Certification Body are headquartered in the UK, and have a growing presence around the world.
They are Private Equity backed, and provide Accreditation and Certification services.
This organization specialize in Business Certification, International Standards, ISO Certification and enable clients to get government-backed accredited certificates for all of their business needs.
We are searching for somebody to head up the newly formed **Sales Function** in their Italy (Milan) office, and **grow, lead, and develop a sales team **to take them from strength to strength!
We are looking for a **strong Sales Manager** with proven past track record of **building sales teams from scratch, building, hiring, mentoring and coaching sales teams.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The **Inside Sales Manager will build, lead, manage and coach **Italia's Sales Team, working closely with the Group Marketing Function and the CFO to ensure targets are met.
The teams are processing a high volume of digitally generated leads from SMEs, so the role is mostly about process effectiveness and people management, rather than getting involved in high value BD activities, although this does form part of the role from time to time.
**The sales style is advisory, and aims to demystify a somewhat technical product.

- Uses data and analysis tools to inform strategic planning and decision making
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentational skills with the availability to present data and plans effectively to a broad range of stakeholders
- Experience of working within the TIC sector is an advantage but not essential

- Proven track record of building successful sales teams
- Delivering sales strategies

- Developing stakeholder relationships
- English and Italian written and spoken language
- Able to report on sales achievement against targets to relevant stakeholders at monthly board reports
- Helping team to deliver on KPIS
- Report on market trends
- Putting in succession plans for team members
**OTHER
- Must be able to speak and write both Italian and English
- Hybrid position: Milan - Office based 3 times per week minimum at the start 60-65k base + 30% performance bonus
- Will work closely with the CFO to ensure the successful delivery of the Sales Strategy and targets
