As a Sales Manager, you will drive the sales performance of the Global Solution Center in Paint Applications in Italy, specifying and implementing effective sales and business-development initiatives in line with global strategy.
You will lead and coach the local sales organization to meet ambitious targets and exceed customer expectations.
**This position reports to**:
Business Manager - Commercial
**Your responsibilities**:
- Identifying new business opportunities and creating clear strategies to convert them.
- Coordinating the information flow around sales activities, and providing forecasts and market intelligence to marketing and sales.
- Establishing strong customer relationships and maintaining a positive customer experience throughout the sales process, including post-sale.
- Conducting contract risk assessments and working closely with relevant parties to mitigate risks.
- Building a robust sales organization through best practices, training and cross-collaboration.
**Your background**:
- A master or bachelor's degree in Engineering will be appreciated.
- More than 5 years of experience in Automotive business, working as Sales and Sales Manager with Paint Applications.
- Knowledge of painting and sealing technologies and processes.
- International networking in Automotive and Paint Applications.
- Experience of business development, account management and cross-selling.
- Excellent English and Italian language skills, another language (French, Spanish, German) will be appreciated.
- A clear grasp of contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial and legal terms.
- Exceptional communication and negotiating skills, a customer-focused mindset and a professional, "can-do" attitude.
