They are currently expanding its product offering with Cyber Security and advanced programs in Autonomous Driving products.

SCOPE OF ROLE
Our client is looking for a motivated, proactive, and hands-on Sales Manager.
As a member of our nimble group, you will expand their role in the automotive software space.
In your role you will be responsible for the customers in the region DACH & Italy.
The role reports to the Head of Sales EMEA and has visibility to the highest levels of the organization with short reporting lines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be accountable for your assigned customers to develop them holistically, i. e. for acquisition until after-sales with full commercial responsibility
- Strong focus on revenue generation along with proper forecasting and tracking business performance
- Your customers, Automakers and Tier 1 Suppliers, are located in the region Southern Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Northern Italy; you will be responsible for both existing customers and for acquiring new ones
Your tasks will include:
- Expand the business throughout the complete portfolio in the areas of Navigation, UX Development, Cyber-Security, and Professional Services
- Work with and build upon your existing network of customer contacts to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities including add-on sales and after-sales
- Dig deeply into customer organizations to understand the players, their roles, their interactions, and implications towards achieving our goals
- Develop strategies to position and establish the company and its services as the preferred solution at all points of the customer organization
- Act as our primary point of contact with new potential customers, owning the relationship from start to finish
- Manage the full sales process including identification of new opportunities, establishing program requirements, and final contract negotiations
- Closely collaborate with Pre-Sales and Sales Operations and coordinate across internal teams to prepare cost breakdowns and price quotations and ensure on-time submission
- Collaboratively develop business plans for key customer and product areas.
- Utilize market and competitor information in supporting Product Management to identify and improve unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Play an active role in developing new and creative business models, sales, and functional strategies
- Identify, promote, and present the company's solutions at industry events
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in business, marketing, or engineering fields
- 5+ years developing and closing multi-million-dollar software deals with major automotive & Tier 1 customers
- 3+ years experience with the automotive software market
- Cultivated extensive relationships in the automotive infotainment world that are built on credibility, integrity, and trust
- High comfort level with very complex, technical products; selling, marketing, and translating them to a variety of customer audiences
- Strong problem solving, project management, client relationships, and reporting skills
- Contract negotiation and management competence
- Able to organize and plan effectively in a changing environment
- Able to analyze data and make appropriate decisions based on the analytics
- Self-motivated and driven by results
- Ability to travel ~40% of time
EDUCATION
University degree in IT, Business IT or Engineering potentially upgraded with Business & Administration focusing on Sales & Marketing
LANGUAGES
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Italian is a strong plus.
