Job Purpose:
Generating leads. Meeting or exceeding sales goals. Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients. Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations. Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients. Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs. Understanding and promoting company programs. Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders. Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services. Maintaining client records. Manage sales and business relationships within assigned strategic accounts
Responsibilities:
Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accountsdriving sales key account and territory revenue meeting or exceeding customer expectationsRepresents the company in a positive and professional manner at all timesCollaborate with other departments to ensure key account and territory activities are achievedClose business to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue objectivesAdhere to the appropriate departmental sales processes, procedures and policiesIdentify areas of improvement within inside sales and territory processes and assist in implementing solutionsWork closely with other teams to determine a strategic approach to closing opportunitiesProduce reports as needed and requiredMaintain an accurate sales forecast for designated territoryRefer requests for technical assistance to the appropriate department
Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Computer skills - Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Excellent Time Management, Verbal Communication and Interpersonal SkillsCustomer satisfaction focused and strong relationship building skillsHigh energy, drive, and sense of responsibilityPresent key selling points/features and benefits while focusing on customer needs and expectations
Travel %:
Arrange and participate in conference calls and customer visits at corporate facility on behalf of customer
Identified training mandatory for the role to be completed competently
2-5 years insides sales experience, or key account customer service experience, in the Connector Industry preferredHigh school degree is required

Prospect, identify, qualify and develop sales pipelineClose business to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue objectives. Work as part of larger team to eensure on time delivery goals are metAct as the voice of the customer within the organization, Collaborate with other departments to ensure key account and territory activities are achievedAct as the voice of the customer within the organization, and provide fast, accurate responses to all inquiriesHelp to create a positive and motivating work environment within the Sales TeamAdhere to the appropriate sales process and company policies
