Responsabilità:
The Sales Manager Engineered materials is accountable for managing from a sales perspective TPE and PMMA customers in foremost Southern European countries (Italy, e. g. , distribution), Malta, Portugal), focusing on growing sales and EBITDA.
- Act as primarily focal point for our organization in front of the customer: lead the resources required to effectively manage the customer (TS&D, CSR, Supply Chain, ), and manage communication to the customer.
Develop and build relationships with internal and external customers, influencers, decision makers and sponsors through daily contacts
- Understand and proactively analyze customer's product and service needs.
Recognize, anticipate, and solve customer problems by working collaboratively.
Use extensive knowledge of customers' total needs and our product offerings to form account strategies and plans identify, assess and prioritize value growth and operational excellence initiatives.
Define annual, value-creating goals consistent with business and account strategy.
Monitor, track and report monthly progress of agreed indicators vs.plan for the accounts in the defined region
- Own sales process (Contracts, Pricing Agreements, Volume commitments, Rebates, Credit management, forecasting): negotiate terms of sales at Customer interface, capture orders and finish order process, deliver of IBE's expectations (monthly 6 months rolling forecast).
Demonstrate sales excellence: Efficient and smooth use of tools and written communication and reporting, clean and clear plans and reports communicated in a professional and usable way, efficient negotiation tactics for complex projects.
Use SalesForce to manage sales and business development process
- Thrive on commercial excellence.
Create a pipeline of value growth projects and conduct product spec-in trials in local contract manufacturers and molders.
Develop and maintain broad market intelligence to understand customer's organization and structure, competitive situation, trends and future needs.
Share with internal support functions (TS&D, CSRs, Marketing, etc) to promote increased revenue and value.
Qualifiche:
Minimum Education Required:
Engineering degree (chemistry, mechanics) with commercial "nose" or vice versa commercial degree with high affinity for chemistry and industrial business
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 5 yrs experience in the industry, with at least 2yrs in a business customer facing role.
- Networking, listening, stakeholder mapping and convincing
- ability to deal in a multicultural space
- willing to travel
- Fluent English and Italian, other European language a definite plus,
- pro-activeness
- basic finance understanding.
The position requires strong interpersonal skills, a genuine interest and a good understanding of Engineered Materials solutions and customer requirements.
