Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales professional to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be in charge of the partnership with top-ranking chemical companies, responsible for managing and expanding relationships with the clients globally, ensuring their needs are met, while identifying new opportunities for growth.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the chemical industry and a proven track record in sales and account management. Key Responsibilities:Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, maintaining and strengthening long-term relationships. Sales Growth: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing accounts through up-selling and cross-selling of Italmatch's diverse product portfolio. Client Advocacy: Understand and anticipate clients' needs, ensuring their requirements are communicated effectively within the organization to deliver tailored solutions. Relationship: Leverage knowledge of industry and build network with critical influencers and key decision makers. Internal alignment and collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including planning, customer service, logistics, and manufacturing, to align strategies and deliver optimal results for clients. Budget Management: Establish and manage budgets in collaboration with clients, ensuring financial objectives are met. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific field. Minimum of 8 years of experience within the chemical or O&G industry. Proven track record in an industrial B2B commercial role, ideally in specialty chemicals.
Strong understanding of key market segments, such as industrial and transportation lubricants and additives, is a key differentiator. Agility to adapt to rapid changes in organizational priorities, market conditions, and stakeholder expectations. Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in Italian and English.
