Sales Manager, Italy
The Opportunity**:
ESW powers cross-border ecommerce for the world's best-known brands, creating safer, simpler, and faster shopping experiences for consumers all around the globe.
We are building a team of dynamic and professional Sales Managers to promote our full suite of Global eCommerce Solutions.
Working remotely and located in Milan, you will focus on direct sales and be responsible for driving new business opportunities and effectively onboarding new brands across four key verticals - Apparel, Luxury, Beauty and Jewellery.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Work closely with the VP Sales in Italy to growth ESW accounts base and be responsible for developing, nurturing, and closing sales opportunities.
- Research and identify new business opportunities, including new verticals, growth areas, trends, customers, partners
- Manage the sales process for new prospects, from initial contact to closure.
- Maintain and develop new customers through planned account support and relationship management.
- Develop a full understanding of our Global eCommerce Solutions and construct effective sales strategies and value propositions.
- Support necessary marketing initiatives to enable lead generation and prospect identification.
- Build strong relationships with clients and prospects, based on trust and collaboration.
- Contribute to written proposals and RFP responses.
- Maintain CRM updated (Salesforce)
- Work closely with sales engineers' team & all others internal stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify suitable prospects for targeting of direct sales activity.
- Analyse new technologies and forecast new market trends.
- Manage, track and report sales activities using Salesforce.
**Key Experience & Skills**:
- 2+ years of experience selling eCommerce platform, solutions and/or Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions
- Demonstrated experience of successfully closing complex deals and consultative sales techniques.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with a high degree of persistence and resolve to achieve targets.
- Entrepreneurial mind-set.
- Consistent self-motivation and drive - a self-starter attitude
- Knowledge of our key verticals Apparel, Luxury Beauty and Jewellery is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Good time management with strong organizational skills
- Fluent English and Italian.
Fluent German or French would be an advantage.
