is located within the Covestro production hub in the industrial area of Filago. _
- The company produces NBR and SBR type synthetic latexes in aqueous emulsion, used in the production of paper, rugs, carpets, non-woven fabrics, rubber items, adhesive tapes, disposable and reusable gloves. _
- Synthomer sees Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) management as a vital part of its business.
The main goal is to reduce as much as possible any environmental damage caused by its activities, reduce the consumption of natural resources and avoid any accidents or negative effects on the health of those who work in the company, as well as those who use the end products.
The main corporate objective is continual improvement of performance, achieved by setting, planning, and reaching ambitious annual targets. _
- The Filago site is UNI ISO 9001, UNI ISO 14001, and UNI ISO 45001, and EMAS certified, as well as being WHP accredited. _
Purpose of the Job:
Main Accountabilities.
QSHE:
1.
Comply with and ensure compliance with the QSHE rules.
Operational Excellence:

Implement the commercial strategy for the South Europe Region in terms of Volume and Gross Margin:
a.
Manage forecasts as part of the IBP process to ensure an accurate overview of sales in the defined sales region updated monthly.
b.
Evaluate the current sales portfolio and develop corrective measures to ensure the achievement of KPIs.
c.
Communicate and ensure distribution of market information relevant stakeholders and generate prospect opportunities or profitable business growth.
d.
Define short and medium-term development objectives: analysis and monitoring of the competition, commercial development strategy, etc.
e.
Coordinate with the Business, Distribution, R&D, CS & Logistics, Operations, R&D, Legal, HR and Administration teams the joint actions necessary to achieve the objectives.
3.
Monitor and develop commercial performance:
a.
Monitor budgets.
b.
Analyse profitability indicators (level and evolution of sales, revenues, margin and other relevant profitability indicators).
c.
Consolidate, analyse and present results at the regional level.
d.
Design appropriate action plans, based on the results observed and the areas for progress identified, at regional level.
Management & Communication:

Conduct regular customer visits to develop and maintain customer relationships, represent Synthomer in the market and identify trends and opportunities.
5.
Ensure that the defined number of customer visits are met and that the CRM and monthly reporting tools are used effectively.
6.
Follow up the implementation of business action plans and monitor the achievement of short and medium term business objectives to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
Work contract: Permanent
Requirements & Knowledge and skills
Education: 5 year-higher education or equivalent experience; minimum 5 years of commercial experience or product management experience in specialty chemicals: experience and knowledge of adhesives market will be an advantage.
Fluent Italian at least C1 level.
Fluent English at least B1 level.
Customer relations, negotiation, leadership, charisma and knowledge of the chemical industry.
