**What You Will Do In Your Role**:
- Create value for customers and Genesis while building and modeling the company's Guiding Principles: Integrity, Stewardship & Compliance, Principled Entrepreneurship®, Transformation, Knowledge, Humility, Respect, and Self Actualization
- Build and execute a territory sales plan with clearly defined 30/60/90-day sprints
- Manage direct account and channel business partners
- Negotiate "win-win" sales agreements and foster high-trust, mutually beneficial relationships with our customers
- Be a bridge between Genesis headquarters in Canada and our customers in Europe
- Develop a deep understanding of customer pain-points and ensure this information is provided to internal stakeholders
- Generate leads, find new business, advocate for the Voice-of-the-Customer (VOC), and manage customer relationships
- Work closely with the GRMT Marketing team for local marketing activities (e. g.
marketing collateral for tradeshows)
**The Experience You Will Bring**:
**Requirements**:
- Multiple years of direct sales experience in a "hunter and cold call" capacity
- Multiple years selling products and engineering services into complex product development environments
- Experience with selling imported engineered solutions into the regional market
- Technical familiarity with mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering
- Fluent in verbal and written English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams, and a major CRM software
- Travel within Europe as required; total travel will be ~50%
- International travel required less frequently to Asia and to Genesis headquarters in Vancouver, Canada
**What Will Put You Ahead**:
- Experience with drives, SW, and integration of actuation solutions would be a plus
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field such as mechatronics, electrical, or mechanical would be a plus
- Experience commercializing a new technology or product offering would be a plus
- Experience in large and small companies in a sales capacity would be a plus
- Working technical fluency in German and/or Italian would be a plus
