Sales Manager, Release Liners
Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales Strategy & Planning**:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets for release liners within the paper market.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer demands to inform business strategy.
- **Market Development**:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including untapped geographical regions and industry segments.
- Build strong relationships with key market players, including converters, printers, and end-users in the paper industry.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:
- Cultivate and maintain long-term partnerships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Provide tailored solutions to customers' needs, leveraging technical and market expertise.
- Act as a key liaison between customers and internal teams to address concerns and align on expectations.
- **Collaboration with Internal Teams**:
- Partner with production, R&D, and marketing teams to align sales efforts with product capabilities and innovation initiatives.
- Share market feedback to support product development and strategic planning.
- **Negotiation & Commercial Management**:
- Manage pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve optimal balance between profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Lead high-stakes negotiations with senior decision-makers.
- **Performance Reporting & Analysis**:
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, preparing detailed reports for senior leadership.
- Provide sales forecasts to guide production and inventory planning.
- **Compliance & Sustainability**:
- Ensure that all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Promote eco-friendly and sustainable solutions within the release liner product line.
**Key Qualifications**:
- **Education**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Technical or engineering background in paper or related industries is highly desirable.
- **Experience**:
- At least **10 years** of experience in the paper industry, with a strong focus on sales and business development.
- Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets within a B2B environment.
- **Languages**:
- **Fluency in German and English** is required.
Proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
- **Skills**:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate market data into actionable strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

**Location & Travel**:
- The position is based in Italy or Germany
- Extensive travel across Europe, particularly within German-speaking regions, is required.
