The Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting and supporting products and services for the ATS' Technology and Products division. In this position, you will be a key member of a close-knit team that is responsible for owning and driving the go-to-market strategy, while leading the sales cycle.
You will be an advocate for the customer and work as a liaison between the direct sales force, customers and operations.
Being a customer focused team, you will provide direct support to service, parts, engineering, manufacturing and customers to resolve technical issues that affect the sales, installation and utilization of the organization's products and/or services. This position can be performed anywhere in Italy either from an ATS location or remote with travel. RESPONSIBILITIES:Customer support from the quotation phase to order placement and in individual casesCustomer support during order processingManaging the sales process, including commercial contract negotiations through to order receiptTargeted acquisition of new customers according to strategyParticipation in the preparation of order-related preliminary calculationsProcessing and preparing customer orders for project managersPersonal support for key customersCreation and implementation of product presentations in collaboration with other departmentsMonitoring sales-relevant metrics, analyzing errors and defining and implementing appropriate countermeasuresDeveloping and maintaining first-class customer satisfactionRecognizing market and customer-related trends and identifying further business opportunities to increase sales and profitsOther tasks not described in detailMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Successful completion of a degree in industrial engineering or comparable qualificationAt least 5 years of relevant professional experienceAbility to communicate business fluently with customers in English and ItalianStrong communication skills by phone and emailVery good work ethic and the ability to work independentlyIn-depth industry and relevant customer knowledgeExperience with capital goods projectsNegotiation skillsVery good understanding of automation technologyKnowledge of robotics and automation is a plusCustomer orientationCommercial understandingAbility and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
