Sales Planning Analyst, Region Italy
Position Overview
- The Sales Analyst supports Sales team and Senior Management by providing insights and recommendations on the business performances.
This role includes active interactions with Sales, Merchandise & Planning and Finance departments. - Fiscal year budget preparation and forecast follow up with contribution on strategic analysis by brand, channel, region and account. - Responsible for collecting sales analysis and increasing overall sales results. - Building reports to track the key performance indicators (retail sales, sell thru, commercial P&L forecast, current economic conditions, competition, bonus scheme and customer behaviors) to drive and improve the decision-making process. - Focused primarily on wholesale business, she/he will work closely with top management to create an omnichannel reporting culture, cross functionally with business partners to perform detailed business analysis, coordinating various project timelines and deliverables. The Sales Analyst leads requirements gathering analysis and verification meetings, ensures final statements are accurate, verifiable consistent, feasible and comprehensive.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage Omni-channel reporting, coordinating all different players to ensure accurate and high-level business analysis and projects.
- Update sales reporting for the regional sales team and the European headquarter sales analyst team based in Geneva and London;
- Guide sales people in the definition of Budget Process and in the development of Budget Presentation;
- Collect, analyze, evaluate data in order to provide tools to support business decisions;
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reports tracking sales market figures and Retail Sales by customers and brand reviewing the sales budget and forecast including sales to budget variance, to target and to previous year;
- Bonus scheme tracking;
- Drive profit optimization leveraging on Loss of Revenues analysis
- Partners' P&L control and profitability
- Elaborate proposal draft, ensuring that meeting with internal and external customers have data consistency;
- Produce ad hoc reporting for Sales, Merchandising & Planning and Senior Management
- Generate presentation for Management meeting.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Strong analytics (Excel, Business Intelligence, Power Point)
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
