Sales Representative
POSITION IDENTIFICATION
- Position Title**:Sales Representative** (Funzionario Vendite)
- Organization: GTS
- Reports to**:Sales Manager
**PURPOSE OF POSITION
The objective for the Sales representative is to develop sales and build long-term relations and loyalty with the customers in the area set by the company. Secures implementation of sales activities set by the company meaning product availability, placement, promotion and price to ensure a continuous positive development of the annual turnover and the overall profitability for the business.
**JOB DESCRIPTION
- Product focused sales to the specific need of professional customers.
- Implementation of plans for customers. Securing that activities set by sales manager are implemented at own customers.
- Visit customers based on visitation
- Manages all reference sales channels and manages the correct positioning of products.
- Ensure that the entire pre-sales and after-sales process is successful according to the company's objectives through the collection of orders transmission and monitoring;
- Monitor and increase customer satisfaction;
- Perform training or demonstrations at the point of sale where required
- Develops the customer portfolio through continuous research and identification of new business partners
- Transfers sales policies to customers and in general to distribution
- Implement promotional activities with preparation of promotional areas in collaboration with the trade marketing function
- Host and participate key business events, e. g. trade shows, exhibitions, in-store demonstrations and events to expand upon sales opportunities if necessary.
- Collects information in its area (competition price detection, analyse and study competitor products) reporting them to its manager
- Market-customer and demand analysis
- It is the duty of the sales official of the professional channel to be able to identify the large users of their area to which they can present commercial opportunities and convert the range and products.
**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Formal Qualifications
- High School-Degree (3 years).
Knowledge & Experience:
- 3-4 years as Promoter
- 3 years as Sales Account
**COMPETENCIES & SKILLS
- Communication - clear and precise in interaction.
- Presentation - effective communication of key points during presentations while maintaining interest of the audience.
- Commercial awareness - understanding of the dynamics of the modern market, the impact of decisions and the needs of our key retailers and end users.
- Negotiation
- maximise the return at mínimal costs and to ensure that this is viewed as a win/win situation for the business and the retailer/construction company.
- Financial
- to understand necessary financial areas both internal and external and to use these skills to drive sales and margin for the Business.
- Budgetary
- to maintain control of set budgets through effective planning and control.
- Ability to deal with pressure - the ability to stay calm under pressure and ensure that pressure situations do not adversely affect the results achieved
- Flexible
- no problem in working 'out of office hours' during week and weekends and displays a creative open-minded work attitude.
- Time management
- to prioritise key tasks and to ensure business critical objectives are achieved in a timely manner.
- Planning skills
- to ensure that the focus is on proactively driving sales through planned activities.
- Drive and determination
- to have high self-motivation to look for continuous improvement in all areas even in tough conditions.
