**Key Responsibilities
The Sales Representative will be primarily responsible for becoming the resident Trauma & Extremities expert by meeting and exceeding sales objectives for the territory and associated T&E product line. This will be accomplished by representing Stryker as a leader in our industry and the marketplace by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals.
- Driving growth in the territory through active constant customer engagement
- Customer selection, targeted sales approach
- Plan and execute on a quarterly and annual business plan, this will be showing management of existing revenue streams and customers, and driving acquisition across the territory generating growth.
- Control all resources and materials in his/her territory (demo kit)
- Customer care for physicians, surgical/theatre staff and hospital administration with the goal of achieving qualitative and sales-oriented consultation
- Ensuring products are sold and revenue gains are established within the limits of in-house guidelines
- Achieving the sales and margin targets for the territory
- Managing contracts and pricing agreements in the territory, working with RSM and PM to ensure this is within the desired company bands.
- Representing Stryker to all levels of HCP, commissioners and managers in their territory
- In-theatre support where required
- Completing quotes / reporting as and when required
- Support in-person customer experience of our products through coverage of exhibits, trade shows and educational labs
- Continues to support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements, and Company's policies and procedures
- Remains current on industry, customer, and competitive trends
- Acts in a consultancy capacity with other Stryker department
- Promoting and disseminating the culture of compliance (compliance with regulations and ethical behaviour).
- Fulfill the quality policy and comply with company's standard operative procedures with particular attention to the Vigilance ones
**What are we looking for?
- Degree in Engineering, Administration, Sales or Marketing or related experience in a medical, scientific field or technical career;
- Previous experience in the Medical Devices industry (ideally dealing with implants), and solid knowledge of the healthcare system is required;
- From 3 years of experience in a Commercial role in the Medical devices sector;
- Solid experience working in the operating room;
- Experience in Orthopedic will be strongly preferred;
- Advanced competences with Microsoft Office and Salesforce;
- Fluent level of Italian and intermediate level of English (min B1).
Territory: Lombardy
Based location: Any main city of the region, ideally Milan.
Travel percentage: 80%
Operating room required: 60%
