In our Motion Business Area, in Drive Products division located in Sesto San Giovanni, we are looking for a Sales Specialist for the Lombardy area, who will monitor proactively sales performance, ensuring development and implementation of correction actions to secure business growth when and where needed.
Proactively lead, develop and coach the sales organization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to exceed the sales targets through high performance.
**This position reports to**:
Sales Manager
**Your responsibilities**:
- Sales strategy: Create, plan and implement global/regional/local sales strategy and strategic business development initiatives for the Business Area/Division/Product Group.
- Sales targets: Define key sales targets and establish appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance.
Proactively anticipate and identify shortfalls in performance and takes appropriate remedial action.
Drive top line growth.
- Customer acquisition: Identify and evaluate opportunities with existing and potential new customers on a global/local basis, determines plans for implementation and allocates resources.
- Customer relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers in customer and potential customer organizations.
Plan and implement customer surveys and acts on the results to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Participate in the negotiation of key global contracts.
- Volume, profit and cost: Identify, monitor and maintain/exceed the sales market price levels, evaluating with Product Management pricing impact on the results.
Support local sales organizations to ensure achievement of sales volume and product mix targets.
- Risk: Monitor client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams.
Identify and manage potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels including cyber security risks.
- Sales process: Develop, implement and review sales processes and tools, and all related training and development activities.
- People leadership and development: Ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
Coach, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
Drive and ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
**Your background**:
- Technical background/Degree in engineering
- At least 2-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience on inverters, drives, motors, PLC
- Knowledge of the industrial machinery / OEM's / End Users
- Business English level, both written and spoken
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent managerial skills will complete your profile
