We target sustainable growth in the transportation sector and will continue our task to contribute to the maritime sector for reaching advanced levels with our growing talented and dynamic work-forceWe are looking for a Sales Specialist for our office based in Genova, ItalyTHE ROLEEstablish business to meet the customers´ requirementsSend quotations to customers and to other Akkon offices based in other countries and follow up themDevelop and execute commercial programs to achieve revenue, profitability and market share objectivesManage and maintain professional relationship with the customersFoster and develop relationships with the new prospective customers while identifying the customer´s needs and requirementsMaintain a detailed customer database to include the customers´ company profileNegotiate with suppliers and carriersDrive sales development through an analysis of commercial opportunitiesProspect and secure new customers and/ or new opportunities within existing accountsMaintain a database of pipeline opportunities including pipeline forecasts and recording of opportunity plansMonitor competitive activity and recommend action when necessaryParticipate in the weekly meetings with Headquarters, reporting Genova commercial activity, competition, follow up projects and pending mattersTHE PROFILERelevant Bachelor's degreeMinimum 3 years of commercial and business development experience, preferably within the maritime/ marine services industryA good communicator with excellent verbal and written English skillsStrong negotiation skills, analytical skills and the ability to think strategicallyAbility to work in a team, flexibility, commitment and initiative #J-18808-Ljbffr
