**A Day in the Life**:Our Surgical team is dedicated to delivering mínimally invasive and reliable solutions that enhance patient outcomes.
Since acquiring the Smith & Nephew GYN Portfolio in 2016, Medtronic has expanded its commitment to Women's Health through the TruClear System, a leading technology for hysteroscopic tissue removal.
This innovative system, optimized for pathology, now supports a wide range of intrauterine procedures, including myomectomy, polypectomy, endometrial biopsy, and retained product removal—reinforcing Medtronic's focus on advancing mínimally invasive care.
As a Sales Specialist in GYN (Gynecological) Health, you will be responsible for driving TruClear portfolio sales by building strong relationships with key stakeholders in your territory.
You'll also contribute to marketing strategy development, implementation, and execution, ensuring alignment with the EU (European Union) strategy.
By collaborating with the Surgical Innovations team, you will help deliver tailored, value-driven solutions that meet customer needs and support improved patient care.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned**:
- Build and grow the TruClear Solution business with existing and new customers, ensuring quarterly and annual revenue targets are met
- Develop tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of key medical centres, such as optimizing patient pathways and setting up office hysteroscopy services
- Provide training and education to hospital staff on new products, technologies, market trends, sales tools, and processes to ensure they are well-informed and confident in their use
- Serve as the primary Medtronic contact for key TruClear customers by proactively coordinating with internal teams to deliver comprehensive account management support
- Highlight Medtronic's unique value by collaborating with Health Economics and Reimbursement teams and lead the design and execution of aligned commercial initiatives for both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
- Represent Medtronic at major conferences and networking events to strengthen the company's brand presence in the market
- Work with the Disease State Management and Medical Affairs teams to organize Peer-to-Peer Key Opinion Leader events that drive rapid product adoption
- Actively collaborate with the European Gynecology Health team by sharing best practices, providing market insights, and contributing to the expertise in mechanical hysteroscopic tissue removal (mHTR) and hysteroscopy
**Required Knowledge and Experience**:
- Proven success in a target-driven sales role (minimum of 3 years) within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and long-term relationship development.
- In-depth knowledge of national and local healthcare systems.
- Strategic mindset with excellent commercial awareness, clear thinking, and strong analytical skills.
Ability to communicate Medtronic's value effectively and inspire enthusiasm among customers.
- Flexibility to travel frequently in the South-Centre Italy (Lazio, Campania, Puglia, Calabria Sicilia regions) or in the all Italian territory, including overnight stays and occasional weekends, based on business needs.
A background in healthcare, such as a medical or scientific degree, is highly valued, with additional qualifications in business or marketing considered a strong advantage.
Familiarity with the gynecology and hysteroscopic market is preferred, along with a results-driven approach and excellent project management skills to ensure timely completion of initiatives.
