IDS is a leading in-vitro diagnostic solution provider to the clinical laboratory market.
We develop, manufacture and market innovative immunoassays and automated immunoanalyser technologies to provide improved diagnostic outcomes for patients.
IDS Italy is based in Spello and was founded in 1996 by Diametra, in 2014 the site became a subsidiary of IDS.
Our site in Italy engages in the manufacturing, research and development of manual invitro diagnostics devices (ELISA).
Activities at the Spello site include own brand production and OEM production of bulk supplies, unlabelled reagents, and customised packaging.
In addition, The R&D team also engages in the development and customised design of in vitro diagnostic reagents for IDS automated instruments.
We are looking for Sales Support Advisor.
Details
Part Time, Working 24 hours per week, on a Temporary 12 Month Contract
Job Purpose
To process external & internal customer orders and to provide a first-class support service for customers and sales teams.
Principal Accountabilities
Processing sales order for Direct Customers and Distributors.
Managing the orders from start to finish, providing everything Customer/Distributor requires.
Processing customer invoices.
Setting up new accounts.
Ensuring that all export activities are processed according to the legal guidelines
Working alongside RA in making sure the products are Registered.
Working closely with QA to ensure compliance with all QA procedures
Liaising with operations for order requirements/planning of stock.
Liaise with logistics to ensure shipping deadlines are met daily meetings.
Managing made to order products from Production, working closely with customers.
Responding to enquiries with standard responses and creating/updating standard responses.
Assisting in the answering of incoming calls to the Switchboard.
Addressing Non-Technical complaints, to make sure customers receive timely feedback and replacements
Processing pricing and maintaining price lists
Creating quotations/supplying pricing
Participate in meetings as and when required, representing the department
Supporting during external Auditing
Responsible for maintaining the filing system
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
A very good level of English is required
**Skills**:
Good understanding of the sales process
Excellent communicator with customers locally and international customers
Understanding different global cultures
Ability to convey technical information accurately
Ability to work on contract from a commercial side with Legal team
Good organizational and administrative skills
Ability to work to deadlines
Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team
Able to accept flexibility in working methods
Good computer and Keyboard skills
Knowledge
Understand the principles of sales process.
Good understanding of an ERP system, Microsoft Outlook, Customer Relationship Management database
Experience
2 years' experience working in a similar customer care/sales environment
