Drives the development and application of project management methodology and culture.
Under project manager supervision applies project management knowledge skills tools and techniques in supporting NextGen Project activities and tasks for the State Accounting Office (SAO).
The project coordinator is responsible for tracking project activities and tasks for a specific business suite or multiple workstreams.
This includes but is not limited to scheduling and attending meetings capturing and disseminating meeting minutes receiving project documents and compiling a summary aiding in the development of communication material such as emails newsletters or PowerPoint presentation updating project schedules and RAID log.
Complete Description: Primary Duties & Responsibilities: 1.
Coordinates schedules and attends project related meetings.
2.
Transcribes and disseminates project meeting minutes.
3.
Documents tracks and receives project documentation and deliverables.
4.
Send followups as necessary to ensure project activities are completed in a timely manner.
5.
Shares information and updates with project team members as relevant to project activities.
6.
Documents and tracks project risks issues action items and decisions as part of the project management activities.
7.
Assist PM in developing necessary documents presentations or reports 8.
Followup and track project statuses and update the project tracking system with pertinent information 9.
Create project related reports from the project work breakdown structure 10.
Work with PMs on documenting project scope and highlevel requirements 11.
Disseminate information related to project schedules.
12.
Coordinate NextGen quality review and steering committee meetings.
Capture notes and action items and disseminate as appropriate 13.
Ensure all project related artifacts are stored in the proper location within the NextGen Project SharePoint site.
14.
Assist in tracking monitoring and communicating projectrelated issues scope changes variances and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of the NextGen Project.
15.
Maintain effective communication and working relationships with project team members 16.
Other responsibilities added per managements discretion Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND One year of IT related experience.
OR Associates degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and three years of IT related experience.
Note: An equivalent combination of education and job specific experience that provided the knowledge experience and competencies required to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted on a yearoveryear basis.
Preferred Qualifications: 1.
Prefer experience using Microsoft Project or Microsoft Project Online.
2.
Experienced in using Outlook Visio and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint etc. )
3.
Excellent written oral and presentation skills 4.
Strong organizational analytical and problemsolving skills 5.
Ability to communicate to management business and technical personnel 6.
Ability to work through conflict 7.
An eye for detail and excellent grammar 8.
Ability to multitask Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Experience using Microsoft Project or Microsoft Project Online.
Highly desired 2 Years Experienced in using Outlook Visio and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint etc. )
Required 2 Years Questions Description Question 1 Absences greater than two weeks MUST be approved by CAI management in advance and contact information must be provided to CAI so that the resource can be reached during his or her absence.
The Client has the right to dismiss the resource if he or she does not return to work by the agreed upon date.
